iDEA18 Co-Convenor | Medical Student, The University of New South Wales
I am a 3rd year Medical Student from UNSW and an Aboriginal man from the Bidjara tribe in Queensland, although I grew up in Port Stephens. I am also a Co-convenor for iDEA18 as well as the 2018 National-Rep Elect. I have always been passionate in the environment and animals for as long as I remember. I was raised in an environment with a wide range of wildlife and pets and my parents encouraged me and my two brothers to treat them with respect. I became a member of DEA in my first year of uni and this year I decided to take up the role of the university rep for UNSW. I am looking forward to contributing more to DEA as I am passionate in the cause and believe that people will only begin to listen to the imminence of Climate Change when they discover how it is already affecting the health of individuals worldwide.
