Karin is a GP on the Southside of Brisbane. Growing up in Germany she experienced high population density first hand, and the dwindling of habitat for native wildlife. Having lived in Australia for over 20 years she appreciates Australia’s unique wildlife and fragile ecosystems.
Karin joined DEA seeking to add her voice to other doctors and medical students who shared an understanding of bigger picture issues, of our dependence on healthy ecosystems on earth as our life support system, and of the multiple threats posed by human impacts.
In her spare time Karin enjoys the company of her family, bushwalking, cycling, gardening (with native plants to create a habitat for wildlife) and dabbling in music and art.
