Dr Alice McGushin is currently living in London and working as a consultant for the Lancet Countdown: Tracking Progress on Health and Climate Change, having recently completed an MSc Public Health (Environment and Health) at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She became a DEA member soon after starting medical school at the University of Tasmania and served as the DEA Tasmanian Student Representative, the National Student Representative and on the Western Australian management committee when she moved to WA for her internship. Alice was also the Code Green National Project Manager for AMSA and has represented the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations & the World Medical Association at climate change negotiations. She has also worked as an intern and a consultant for the World Health Organization climate change team. Alice is currently the Vice Chair of the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA). Alice is also a keen runner.
